OBJECTIVES
To promote responsible drinking - to prevent vandalism and violence to members
of staff, customers and premises; to prevent underage drinking; to prevent
illegal drugs, drunkenness and anti-social behaviour.
Milton Keynes BARWATCH CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
The following behaviour will NOT be tolerated in any licensed premises in
Bletchley and
Fenny Stratford:
If you assault a member of staff If you use violence or threats
If you assault a customer
If you damage the bar or vicinity
If you use or sell drugs
If you behave inappropriately in the opinion of the licensee
If you display any act of racism
If you are in possession of any weapons.
You will be immediately barred from this bar and all participating bars within
this area.
Barwatch is a joint initiative between Licensees, Thames Valley Police,
Justices, Milton Keynes Council, Breweries and Businesses in a bid to keep the
town a safe and pleasant place to drink.

MEASURES PUT IN PLACE
To display appropriate signage in licensed premises
To check I.D. to help prevent underage drinking
To work with the relevant authorities and agencies within the Barwatch scheme
To train all staff in the objectives of the scheme
To abide by the constitution of the Bletchley Barwatch Scheme
